It’s the lack of respect,
the increasing neglect,
that at first, we try to dissect,
but it is difficult to connect,
when the person has become an architect,
at the art of the deflect,
they have, afterall, continuously remained unchecked.
It is the tossing aside,
of the blinding pride,
the boundary-crossing,
the ignoring,
even amidst the knowing and understanding,
it is the continuing of the overstepping,
all the limits that they have been breaking.
It is confusing,
as we often tend to be cruising,
diffusing and,
refusing,
to remove the veil,
to see the truth,
to stay away from hell,
to protect our youth.
You don’t need a reason for your anger,
you don’t need a reason for your suffering,
for your crying,
for your breaking.
You don’t need to justify feeling unhappy,
you don’t need to justify feeling lonely,
it’s okay for you to feel this way,
it’s okay for you to feel astray.
You don’t need to explain,
when your pain is overwhelming,
the best is to stay,
far from drowning.
Love your anger,
sympathize with your pain,
whether or not you know the reason for the way you are feeling today.
Know it is okay,
to feel far, far away,
from whatever people define as a good day.
